AMAZING food! I went with my mom and her boyfriend. I got the chicken katsu bento box and for all that food for under $20? Good tasting food that doesn’t break the bank, I’d say that is a great steal! My mom and her boyfriend got the bulgogi which was delicious too! We usually eat bulgogi and sometimes restaurants aren’t as good as mom’s but this place outdone themselves. Not only just their food is splendid but the inside and the customer service is too! Clean and aesthetic inside, delicious food, and spectacular customer service. Definitely will be recommending to others along with coming back when I visit Michigan again!

Great choice of oriental dishes. Quick service. The owner of the business (running this place for seven yeas) himself took our order and brought our food. Nice, quick, affordable.

The first time I ate at YumYum Bento was in August 2024, right about when the students moved back to MSU Campus. The eatery is decorated in a nice, clean white and bamboo tan aesthetic, with a hefty amount of kawai thrown in. Their menu is a nice mixture of different Asian cuisines - Japanese, Korean, and Thai. The first thing I had to try was the spring rolls - fresh, crisp, and delicious. The main entree that even was the Kalbi - nicely prepared, great flavor, and the kimchi goes well with it. I believe I had to get another serving of rice (as I like a lot of rice with my Kalbi). Jump forward to earlier today (January 6, 2026) and I tried the Bulgogi, which actually had slices of carrot and zucchini along with the requisite onion. Again could have sprung for another serving of rice, but I made the one serving last the whole meal. Wonderful garlicy sauce. And the vegetables were a plus to the meal. Both visits, the staff was very friendly. Next time, I should actually try their Bento boxes and boba tea.

Yum Yum Bento is the perfect place for a delicious bite! Small cozy restaurant with adorable decorations. ShanShan and all the staff are so sweet and welcoming! I've been coming here for years, and it's never disappointed. The shrimp tempura curry is SO good. All the appetizers are good too. Mr. Bear gets a 10/10 as well. He's very quiet and polite πŸ§ΈπŸ’•
